POINT LEVEL INDICATORS
Bin Level Indicators and point level sensors are used to detect the presence and absence of material at predetermined points within a vessel. Bin Level Indicators, or Point Level Sensors, are used for high, low and intermediate material level detection. In addition, Bin Level Indicators can be used to detect plugged conditions in chutes and pipes, as well as backup of material within process equipment.

The Model VHL is a vibrating fork level detection sensor for liquids and slurries. This point level sensor uses piezoelectric and solid-state electronics technologies. Liquid level sensors that are economical and very reliable.
VHL MINI VIBRATING FORK FOR LIQUIDSÂ
The VHL Mini is a lower cost, miniature version of the Model VHL vibrating fork point level sensor. The VHL Mini is specifically used to provide a solid-state AC or DC output to interface to a PLC or to switch low current loads when detecting the presence and absence of liquid and slurry materials.

These level sensors are a great choice where compact size and being minimally invasive is required. Capacitive proximity switches are an ideal choice for small machine hoppers and bins.
